" My Love" Written By: Brandi A. Schaefer |

This poem was inspired by Lake McDonald, Montana. | ||||||||||
The raindrops splashing upon your face, The sun shining in your eyes, The moon and stars twinkling in the night, The wind blowing in your ear, The lake lapping against a rock, The birds sing a love song, All this symbolizes my love. When tears run down my cheek, Those are your rainy days, Each time I smile, The sun will shine, The moon represents my eyes, With a twinkling light of a star, The wind is a gust of my sweet breath, Whispering "I Love You", The lake lapping against the rock is my kiss, This time I sing the love song. |
