James L. Truax was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon.  Diana Jones Truax was born in Durango, Colorado.  We were both baptized in 1960.  We were married in Salem, Oregon on November 4, 1967.

Jim is employed as a project superintendent for Hoffman Construction Company of Oregon. He started a new project September 1, 2005. Opened in the fall of 2006, the $14 million Kaneko Commons project on the Willamette University campus in Salem, includes a 151 bed addition to the existing Kaneko Hall, featuring suites and apartments for students. The new community also includes adjacent housing for a faculty resident and his/her family, an enlarged dining facility, and high quality meeting and activity spaces.
