Comments: I've been researching the goldens and hoping in the near future we will get one. We had a Rottie for 12 years and he had to be put down last year for kidney failure. He was an excellent dog, especially with 3 young kids. Never had a problem. But I mis having a pooch around and the goldens seem to fair the best with temperament nature, good with kids, and just plain loveable. My husband and I are not sure if we want to go the puppy route and we are looking into adopting from a resuce group. Do you kn w of any rescue groups in Connecticut?? I've been searching and the only one nearby is GRRG, that services the New England states. Any help and stories would be much appreciated. hopefully a future golden owner.... Paule Skirkanich

Comments: Just stopped by on a recommendation. I am a GSD who was first introduced to a "Bumper" during a June vacation. I just love the thing! Can't go anywhere without it! Just keep throwing it and you make me very happy. I would rather chase the bumper than go on those nice long walks my owner always insists that we do. So we have compromised, she brings the bumper and I chase it all along the walk. Other friends of mine also get involved but they know it is MY bumper and they just run with me back and for h but don't touch MY bumper. Best dog gone thing ever invented.

Comments: I really enjoyed visiting your website. I was even more excited when I read Tucker's pedigree and realized he and my Amber are related. I don't know much about pedigrees but Buster Keaten seems to be a grand parent on both her(Amber) sire and dam side. Amber was brought to the Humane Society where I work because she was " making the rest of the litter look bad" because she had a deformed leg. The problem was a laceration he hadn't taken care of. Her bone became infected because he didn't feel the need to give her the antibiotics her co-breeder(a vet) had given him for her. She's had several thosand dollars of of work done on her leg and it is now barley usable. Both her sire and her dam are supposed to be American and Canadian show and field champion . She goes to work with me eveyday and is the official mascot for our shelter. I also have a rescued golden who was born without his front leg. I recently adopted the best of the best as far as Goldens go from the dog pound. All are about 3 yrs. Golde s are number 1 in my book and I work with close to a thousand dogs a year.
