C.S. Lewis, (1898 - 1963), may be best known for his "Chronicles of Narnia" children's books; however, his greatest body of work was generated out of his complete surrender to his Christian faith. As an adult convert to Christianity, "Jack" followed his newly discovered Life's Path - that of sharing his beliefs. The majority of his work fell into the area of apologetics, but was developed within the frames of fiction, essays, poetry, mythology, and his private letters, which have been published since his death.
My first exposure to Jack's work came when our pastor's wife gave a set of the "Chronicles" to my children; I read them and found them enchanting and a wonderful introduction to Biblical fantasy for my kids. Later, I read "Mere Christianity," and have been collecting and reading his works since.
