The top three pictures were taken in December, 1996, when Alex was 11 months, Drowsey was 8 months, and Charlie was 3 months old. Back then, we had no idea that Charlie was predominantly terrier, other than his attitude. We were under the impression that he was some sort of lab/shepherd mix, not far off from Drowsey. As his snout elongated, his fur became long and dishevelled, and his fu man chew required regular trimmings, it became evident that little Chukums was a terror, or would that be terrier. Well, at least we adopted him while he was cute and we could justify it. The bottom two pictures were taken during the late winter of 1998. The boys are posed on their pet bed, which we now refer to as the "da-da-da," as in the volkswagon commercial. You may wonder why it has been so named. Big hint: undigestible object barf and stinky, post backyard romp feet.
