Clinical Research Administrator As a clinical research administrator (CRA), I functioned at a higher level in project management. This was the transition from field to in-house work. Project Manager As a project manager (Senior CRA II), this was a rewarding move in my career. It was very exciting for me to continue my work with clinical trials at this level in project management. Manager, Regional CRAs As a manager, part of my responsibilites included oversight of productivity, scheduling, and training of the Regional CRAs and their various project assignments. Educational Background A staunch supporter of education, I have encountered a variety of academic environments in both public and private institutions. My academic studies are ongoing.
Advocate My first role as an advocate was to my children. This naturally expanded as I acquired the skills, training, and experience to serve as an advocate in Special Education services.
Writer (COMING SOON) One of my earlier chosen methods, which I used frequently, to communicate information to families was that of a newsletter. From the ancient typewriter keys to the computer keyboard, I have learned the advantages of technology in the communication process.
Speaker (COMING SOON) With additional training, learned skills, and acquired experiences, I soon discovered that I was able to communicate effectively to parents, children, school personnel, and medical professionals. An indirect result was that I serve as a speaker on topics such as Tourette Syndrome, ADHD, hearing impairments, parenting issues, and Special Education processes.
