Devotion: "Nuggets Of Truth from PSALM 119"

I have many favorite passages - PSALMS 119 is definitely one of them.

It so exalts God's Word and tells of the effect God's Word can have
in our lives. The more one studies it, the fresher it becomes.
This Psalm become more full and fascinating the more you turn to it.

PSALMS 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible.

PSALMS 119 is also broken into 22 sections named consecutively after
each letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

Due to the length of this Psalm I am going to share only one verse
from each of the 22 sections. That show the affect of God's Word in our
lives and then I will follow that with a brief comment on that passage.

Martin Boos states, "...most read their Bibles like cows that stand in
the thick grass, and trample under their feet the finest flowers and
herbs." It is to be feared that we too often do the like. This is a
miserable way of treating the pages of inspiration. May the Lord prevent
us from repeating that sin while reading this priceless Psalm."

Now I suggest that you please read the ENTIRE Psalm 119 for other
GREAT TRUTHS.
