“Entering a New Millennium – What Does It Mean To Me?”

We are celebrating a new year, a new decade, a new century, a new millennium! Wow!!! When the clock strikes midnight we’ll all get excited, there’ll be shouts of excitement, hugging, New Year’s resolutions made, etc.

What VALUE we put on a “DAY”!

Personally, I feel we put TOO much value on January 1st, especially this year.

I know different End-Time prophesy “scholars” are predicting all kinds of things. Some even believe Jesus will come back in the year 2000. Do I get overly excited about all this End-Time Preaching?……….NO!

Why? Because I was excited
BEFORE they started preaching about it (year 2000) and I’ll still be excited if years 2001, 2002, 2003, etc., come about. Let us live excited, expecting Jesus’ return whenever it may be (which may be sooner or later than what you’ve been taught).

January 1st may be a great day, but LORD willing, if I see January 2nd it will be a greater day in my life than the first as it will be another day to grow in Jesus and get to know Him better.

"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that - appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that." - James 4:14,15

Oh, to
love JESUS daily, what a blessing! And if God chooses to let me see another day, may I make the most of that day for my JESUS.

Every day let us be excited in
JESUS, for His plans for us are far better than all the hoopla we make about any certain day.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." - Jeremiah 29:11

Let me close by saying, never put limitations on God’s moving in your
DAILY lives. Live each day to it’s fullest so that, should it be your last, you will have NO REGRETS. And should you see tomorrow, it will mean another day to grow in your relationship with JESUS.

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way." - Psalms 37:23
