I've long ago given up on how she dresses.
(When she was in 1st grade and first fell in love with horses, she used to wear an old riding helmet of mine to school everyday. It looked real nice with her dresses.)
Though she has a very feminine side and occasionally loves to dress up and wear makeup, she spends a lot of time with her brothers and their friends and is quite a ruggle from it!
She has a cousin, Patrick, who is 6 days older than her and they have been incredibly close from day one. (I won't tell you about their plans to move down South and try to marry when they are older.)
She loves softball and is a pretty good batter.
Running to 1st base!
The old thumb's up sign. My kid's don't care for the wild screaming and yelling some parents do. They prefer a nice quiet thumb's up and smile.
Occasionally when it's your turn in the field it gets a little boring. Good thing there is some dirt to make sandcastles in while you're waiting for some action.
She is crazy about horses and takes riding lessons. Here she is on Prince. Hopefully if we move she will get to get her own horse someday.
Here is Colleen with her friend, Elizabeth. We were at Pepperell watching the women attempt to break the NE skydiving formation record. They almost did it.
Colleen loves to come watch us skydive. Here she is with her dad. She can't wait to be 18 and try it herself! I know she'll love it!
Here she is with her cousins at their grandparents' cottage in NH on a lake. They have a blast there!
Here they are having a race.
Fire built by Colleen. Her very first!
These were taken on the Kangamangus Highway in NH
At once place they had this area where you could swim in the river and you could get carried downriver through the rocks. The kids thought it was better than any water slide. Though the water is FREEZING! And the day we went there it was cloudy and cool!
Later that day we took a plane ride. Colleen got to sit up front on her dad's lap and they both got to fly the plane!
