Old houndsmen know what they are. They are very special hounds and no more than that. Because as I've been told those are thumb prints or fingerprints if you will of angels and gods that pulled them to the light. Hounds with these prints were expected to be the leaders and the best of their kind because they carried the mark of heaven's special attention..  Some have them but a little time, others carry them forever, the mark of Mother Nature and God's great work. Nothing more or nothing less .
