Comments: My great-grandfather was James WANSBROUGH, a passenger to Otago on the "Lady Egidia" in 1867, with all his children except for my grandmother Jane. He wrote a diary of the voyage. I have a typed copy of it, and sent one to a cousin, Graeme CONSTABLE, who s v-p of the NZSG, and tells me he has the original (although James W's writing was bad enough so that Graeme thinks the ship was "Lady Egidice"). I don't have a passenger list, but some names are in the diary (libellous, rather, for some).
