Mountain Spirit '98
Nordegg, Alberta, Canada
This was an international camp in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies at Nordegg, Alberta.
There were around Girl Guide and Girl Scout Leaders from all over Canada and around the
world, including Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
We came together in the spirit of the mountains and friendship to try new things and have fun:)
There were many activites to choose from, including backpacking, caving, rock climbing,
horseback riding and a tour of the abandoned coal mine at Nordegg. We also had a day trip to
the Columbia Icefields and the town of Jasper, in the heart of the Rockies.
