Marriage certificate translation:

In the year 1902, the fifth of the month of September, appeared for us,

Today, May 15th, 1896 appeared for me, civil servant of the municipality of Koudekerk, in town hall, planning to get married.

Willem Kapteyn

37 years of age, building man born in Bodegraven, living in Nieuwerkerk aan den Ijssel, of age, son of Dirk Kapteyn, building man, and of Elizabeth Plomp, no occupation, both living in Nieuwerkerk aan den Ijssel and..

Adriana Verbree, widow of Gerrit Boer, 48 years of age, occupation building woman, born in Bodegraven, and living in Koudekerk, of age, daughter of Adrianus Verbree and Maartje Zuidam, both passed away.
The parents of the groom and the mother of the bride by this present, have declared their consent to this marriage.

Their birth certificates:
The death certificate of the last husband of the bride:
Proof of having fulfilled the national service (armed forces) by the groom:
The proof of the proclamation done in Nieuwerkerk aan den Ijssel:

Because no protests have been made against this matrimony are told to us, and the proclamations in Nieuwerkerk aan den Ijssel and here on Sundays, the 24th and 31st of August have elapsed without opposition

Therefore we have asked the groom and bride in public, if they will accept each other as a married couple, and if they will faithfully fulfil all obligations, which are bound by law to the matrimonial state, on which they responded consenting.  So have we declared in the name of the law that

Willem Kapteijn en Adriana Verbree
