(A Fairy Tale)

Welcome to our house!

Please sit down, get comfy and I'll tell you a story.

Once upon a time, on the eastern edge of a far away land (called Australia) there lived an ordinary family called Ball.

The family is a daddy,(Rod), a mummy (Chris), and two wonderful little boys called Jesse and Jordan who always have clean hands and faces and lovely manners. (This is a fairy tale!)

Rod & Chris love their boys to pieces and never mind when things get broken or the garden is trodden on. This family live together in perfect harmony and almost complete silence (except for classical music) as they all get on so well that no voices are ever raised and there is never any arguing.

The family also have some pets:- a small black dog, oddly named Scarlett, a black, brown a white (very small) dog called Butler - think about it...,a lot of yabbies, two inherited goldfish (which are actually black) and a pair of crazy peachface parrots who are totally neurotic. They also have an innumerable tadpoles and frogs but these are loose in the ponds in the gardens and don't all have names. Rod would like to get some more pets, namely snakes, but Chris and Jordan would like a kitten and Jesse would like a Nintendo. Rod is winning this battle.

Rod loves to cook wonderful gourmet meals and Chris and the boys love to eat them. Jesse is 14 years old, smart, talented, sporty and very good looking (sounds unbearable but remember, this is a fairy story). He likes skateboarding and soccer, reading horror stories and cleaning up after himself. He wants to be a lawyer or a criminal - its a toss-up at this point. He likes a lot of weird, loud music and all kinds of classics and opera, which he sings divinely.

Jordan is 10, with enormous blue eyes and an angelic expression. Jordan has spina bifida and he is incredibly brave and determined. He likes his Game Boy, his Sega, all kinds of animals and people, and asking questions. Above all else, he loves Pokemon. He too loves to clean up after himself. He wants to be a vet when he is older and hopes to be married at 16!
