PLUMA MOUSSE

This is a traditional German dessert, similar in nature to a fruit pudding that is served as an accompaniment to veranika and ham.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 c. prunes

1 c raisins

1 c sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 c sweet or sour cream

3 T vinegar

Boil fruit mixture in 2 quarts water. Mix 2 tablespoons flour, 1 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Add 1/2 cup sweet or sour cream, 1/4 cup water and 3 tablespoons vinegar and beat until smooth. Add to boiling fruit mixture, stirring as you add.
