Anita has introduced quilting fabric this year. There is good selection of fat quarters at $1.50 each and a range of marle, tiedyes and various prints in 100% quilting cotton priced at $7.50mtr. They also have vilisofix at $8.50 and a range of general haberdashery.
The website will be adding more items during the year.
Wednesday it is market day in Mornington - lots of stalls all down the Main Street and lots of places to have coffee or eat. Can be quite busy in school holidays. Mornington & Frankston shops are quite small but both have good ranges of fabric etc. Different from each other and lovely people as are all patchworkers

Wonderful range of fabrics, very helpful staff, classes and a machine
quilting service on site.
Disabled acess: 1 step approx 10cm, easy acess within the shop.
If you visit Magic Patch at Tyabb you could have lunch almost opposite at the Packing House which is a huge antiques centre and craft shops at the back. If you phone ans ask Magic Patch they will tell you when it is open and if you need to book. I know it is not open every day

They now do professional machine quilting on a fully
imported Gammel. They do a great job too!
NEW...bigger, brighter shop
This is shop is run by Lee and her daughter Sarah. It has a small but interesting range of patchwork fabrics, fat quarters and some lovely hand dyed pieces. Lots of embroidery silks and notions. A range of books and kit patterns. Lee is well known locally for her classes and is an excellent teacher and is soon to have Judy Baker Montano there for a 3 day workshop. Early March. This is a handy shop if you are holidaying in the area and need something and if you are local, then some great classes.
