Trading for almost 8 years, servicing a wide area.
Also a get together on Sat. afternoons. On Sundays Sandy travels to outlying towns to conduct workshops for the day. Oak Street is really part of the main Capricorn Highway, so the shop is pretty easy to find.

Goomeri is a small town in the South Burnett - lots of antique shops and cafes, in a farming and wine area. The shop has about 1500+ rolls of fabrics, in brights and country fabrics.
Shirley has some health problems, so it might be a good idea to phone first to make sure the shop will be open on the day you are going.

Located just behind the chocolate shop, which also does lunches/brunches/coffee/cakes etc- yum! Same complex also has herb shops, a postcard/prints shop, and scrap booking shop. Lovely outdoor seating area for the cafe to park bored spouses.

Lisa Zimmermann stocks some of the funkier new fabrics (Heather Bailey, etc) as well as the traditional pretties. Good range of patterns, but limited parking behind the store. About 5 minutes by car from city centre. BRILLIANT service. My favourite of the local shops!

It has just opened (2002)and is run by a lovely lady called Jenny Watson. She has a range of fabric for sale, priced between $12.80 and $15.99 (all the normal American fabrics)
Jenny is going to start running classes, and is an agent for Ken Quilts short arm quilting machines. She can also baste your quilts for you as well as doing the machine quilting.
