Patchwork Primitives
4 Laural St
(02)9958-8766
A shop run from a house. A really lovely range of fabric and lots of prints that were in antique quilts ,they also ran classes from well known quilter. The woman who owns the shop is very nice and friendly and gives really helpful advice. The range of prices are as usual but you can get fats in every fabric for around $3. I like antique looking fabric and I find that nearly impossible to find so this is my favourite shop.
MOSMAN
Picklemouse Corner
940 Military Rd,
phone 9969 4001.
It is on Military Road near the big roundabout
towards the zoo. It's on the left hand side and look for a big yellow sign with "jewellery" on it. Shop is next door.
You can't see the shop because of the sign as you approach the roundabout. Parking is hard on Military Road, I parked
around the corner.

Lovely big, bright, and airy location with lots of brand new fabrics just in.
They even have a good range of Ami and Michelle's patterns and fabrics. They're wanting people to stop in for a cup of tea and a chat.
If you're interested in having a look, it's in the centre of a little shopping centre on Koola Ave, Killara. Just along past Killara High School on the left hand side.
I bought some really interesting roller print fabrics that looked like they'd come straight from the 19th century. Can't wait to wash and use them!

PENNANT HILLS
Craft
Depot'
2 Railway St
Ph 9980 8966.
They are a large warehouse style shop opposite Pennant Hills station, They claim to have over 3,000 fabrics in stock, including the entire Jinny Beyer range. I was certainly impressed with what they had. Their prices seemed to be about average at around $16 or $17 per metre for Jinny Beyer, but with many at $9.95 and some even cheaper. They also have a big range of other craft supplies, sewing machines and cabinets, and they run classes too. I will be a regular customer there any time I am up that way. They had a fantastic range of all sorts of craft items, including a stack of fabric and heaps cheaper than you would normally find it.
2) I would like to mention HOBBYSEW . I rang them before I left and the gentleman (Jeff I think) who manages/owns it was so excited a sewing group from 'the Shire' were coming over. When we walked in he asked if we were the ladies from Cronulla and offered to make us all a cup of coffee. They had a fantastic range of all sorts of craft items, including a stack of fabric and heaps cheaper than you would normally find it.
