Who is Jesus?

He is God
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form. Colossians 2:9

He is Man
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. John 1:14

He is the Word of God
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

He is the Lamb of God

He is the Only Way to God

He was born of a virgin
The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son and they will call his name Immanuel, which means God with us. Matthew 1:23

He lived a sinless life
For we do not have a High Priest (Jesus) who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet was without sin. Hebrews 4:15

He gave up His life willingly
The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life - only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. John 10:17,18

He died on a cross
And when they had mocked Him they led him out to be crucified. Mark 15:20

He was Buried
So Joseph took down the body, wrapped it in linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Mark 15:46

Three days later he rose from the dead
Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, He is risen. Luke 24:5,6

Now He reigns in Heaven at the right hand of God
Set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1

The Spiritual Laws

Man is separted from God because:

God is Holy

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come. Revelation 4:8

Man is sinful

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

We can not be reunited with God by who we are or what we do

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not of works so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8,9

Only the blood of the perfect sacrifice can atone (cover) for our sin

The law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin. Hebrews 9:22

Jesus was that perfect sacrifice

We have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all Hebrews 10:10

Jesus died for you

God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

He lives to make intercession for you

He is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:25

He wants to make your heart his home.

That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Ephesians 3:17

Won't you please invite him in.

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20

Scripture tells us: If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
It is as simple as that. All you have to do is accept His gift.
If you believe this won't you take a moment to say this prayer.

Dear God,
I know that I am a sinner. I know that there is nothing I can do to earn my way into heaven. I believe you sent your Son Jesus to pay the penalty for my sins. I accept your free gift of salvation. I ask you to forgive my sins, cleanse my heart, and come and make your home in me. Thank you Father for sending your Son. Thank you Jesus for dying for me. Thank you Holy Spirit for giving me new life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

If you just said this prayer let me be the first to welcome you to the Family of God.

You may ask - Now What?

1) Tell someone.
2) Read the bible.(the book of John in the New Testament is a good place to start)
3) Find a church where the whole Bible is preached.
4) Watch what God will do in your life.

Remember you are an infant in the family. Babies don't become adults over night. Growing up takes time. Be patient and you will grow.
God Bless You. In His Love, Shirley
