Garlic Spareribs
3 lbs. of ribs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup of honey
3 tbsp. soya sauce
1 cup water
2 large garlic buds, pressed
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. ginger
Simmer slowly, adding salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 1 - 2 hours until meat on ribs in tender.
Marinade for Chicken
1/4 cup of soya sauce
1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
1 tbsp. raspberry vinegar
1/4 cup of corn syrup
1 tbsp. mustard
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. turmeric
Mix in saucepan on top of stove and stir well. Let cool. Pour over 3 lbs. of chicken pieces. Refrigerate and leave overnight. Bake in oven as usual, or can be cooked in foil on BBQ. YUMMY!!! spicy.......
Sloppy Joe
Use cooked left over Pork, Beef, Turkey or Chicken
1 cup of ketchup
1/2 cup of water
3 tbsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
Mix this together and add to meat and simmer for about 15 minutes or longer, until meat absorbs the liquid, but is still a little juicy.
Serve on a fresh kaiser bun.
