MISTY
is the beautiful fiancee
of our youngest son, Michael.
We call them the "M & M's".
They are planning
their wedding for Sept.4,1999.
But before that can happen
Misty must undergo a kidney transplant.
Her father, Tim will be the kidney donor.
It is scheduled
for May 14th.
Misty is a wonderful girl.
I could not have hand picked
a better wife for my son.
We ask your prayers for
Misty and her father, Tim.
UPDATE !!
Misty had her transplant
She and her father
are doing great !
Tim is a real hero ! He has
given his daughter
life for the second time!
We ask for your continued
prayers for a
fast recovery for them both.
PROGRESS REPORT
The doctors have determined
that Misty's symptoms did not
indicate that her kidney failure was
as bad as it actually was.
The transplant should
have been done sooner.
Because of this she went into
congestive heart failure.
Now that the doctors know
what the problem is,
they are treating it and
she is much better.
She may be able to leave
the hospital by this weekend.
ANOTHER DISAPPOINTMENT
It appeared that Misty had stabilized
and would be able to go home today,
Memorial Day.
But that was not to be,
her levels dropped
and she is back on IV's.
It is hard for her to
keep her spirits up
with all the setbacks
and disappointments.
Keep praying please !!
FINALLY!! Good News!!
Misty is home and doing well.
It was hard at first because she is
taking so many anti-rejection medications
in addition to her normal medication.
This forced her to get up
several times at night
to take the medication. It was hard for her to rest.
She had a bout with
low blood pressure and an infected stitch
but she is definity on the road
to recovery and
will soon be
Michael's
"goofy little redhead" again!
Thank you all so much
for the prayers and inquires as to her condition.
It really helped us to
get through this!
