Graham Bread

(Recipe of Olive Bush LaDouceur, in her own words)

1 qt. buttermilk
2 eggs
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 big cup brown sugar
2 c. white flour
Enough whole wheat or graham flour to make a batter

Pour into well greased bread tins. It will be kind of thick. Spread end to end. Bake in 300 degree oven for 45 minutes (slow). You can freeze this bread when you need it, wrap in Reynold's wrap (to warm) and it will be just like fresh bread.
