1. Harrison Phipps1 SOUTHER was born on 5 May 1836 in Quincy, Norfolk, MA.1,2,3 He married Mercie Minnie SMITH, daughter of John Crowell SMITH and Lydia BROOKS, on 14 Oct 1862 in New Bedford, Bristol, MA.4 He died on 3 Jul 1915 in Boston, Suffolk, MA, at age 79.5
He Harrison can be found in the Boston City Directories between 1867 and 1875 working for H. SOUTHER & Company and in 1880 working for E. B. James & Company. Harrison was a Brewer.
He and Minnie were married by Nathaniel BEMIS, Clergyman.
When the 1900 Federal Census was taken, Harrison and several members of his family were found residing at 691 Adams Street. With them was a servant, Julia WALSH, born 5 Aug 1879 in IRELAND. She was not naturalized at the time.
Harrison's ashes were interred in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Azalea Path, Section 8, Lot 722, Grave 2.

He Harrison attended the old Boston Latin School, Class of 1875. He worked as a Vetenarian Surgeon. He and Susie were married by Reverend William A. LAWRENCEof Boston. Harrison can be found listed in the 1929 Harvard Alumni Directory.
Harrison and Susie were cremated and buried at Forest Hills Cemetery, Mayflower Path, Lot 4993, Plots 3 & 4.
Note: His wife's name as listed in his death record is Susie B. SAUTELLE. Not also that only Susie's initials, S.B.S. are engraved on the stone; Harrison's name is not there.(Buried in the same lot are John Dana SHEPARD4 Dec 1867 - 24 Jun 1900 and Maud V. SAWTELLE(indicated on the stone by M.V.S.), 1 Oct 1868 - 27 Jun 1919). Plots 1 & 2. The lot is owned by Maud V. SHEPARD..

6. Robert Fulton2 SOUTHER (Harrison Phipps1) was born on 15 May 1876 in Boston, Suffolk, MA.38 He married Juliette Lawrence HALEY, daughter of William D. HALEY and Julia LAWRENCE, on 29 Oct 1902 in Brookline, Norfolk, MA.39 He married Clara H. DANIELSON, daughter of Henry M. DANIELSON and Clara POTTER.40 He died on 25 Sep 1958 in Boston, Suffolk, MA, at age 82.41
He Massachusetts Archives Vital Records of Birth, lists Robert's middle name as "Gerrard". Robert was a Physician. According to his death certificate, Robert was 76 years, 7 months and 11 days old when he died. That calculates to 14 Feb 1882; quite a difference from what his birth actually was. At the time of his death, he was residing at 29 Beech Road, Bass Rocks, Gloucester. He was cremated on 29 Sep 1958 at the Forest Hills Crematory in Jamaica Plain, MA and the following day, his ashes were delivered, but where to or where he was buried/scattered is unknown. He died in the VA Hospital in Boston. His death record also stated that his wife was Clara M. DAVIDSON. Robert was a veteran of World War I.

7. Frank Jenney2 SOUTHER Sr (Harrison Phipps1) was born on 4 Sep 1880 in Boston, Suffolk, MA.43 He married Martha M. McCULLAGH, daughter of James McCULLAGH and Mary J. DAVIS, on 20 Oct 1917 in Boston, Suffolk, MA.44 He died on 27 Aug 1972 in Hingham, Plymouth, MA, at age 91; Cedar Grove Cemetery Records.
