Stockbridge Cemetery

Mount Blue Street
Norwell, Plymouth, Massachusetts
Contact: (781) 659-2824

The Stockbridge Cemetery (sometimes referred to as Mount Blue Cemetery) is located near the corners of Mount Blue and School Streets in Norwell, Massachusetts. The cemetery is well maintained, families plant flowers each spring, flags are always there after Memorial Day. The cemetery is on a rise from the street and is accessed by six stairs. It is the resting place of the Stockbridge, Litchfield, Hyland and Williamson families. Interment dates at this very old site go back to the Revolutionary War period.

The reading of this small cemetery was done on 7 September 1998 by:
Grace Mary Dunn
and
Richard Dennis Souther

The reading was done from the rear left hand corner of the cemetery and proceed down each row to the front and then moved to the right to the next row. The change in row will be noted by a hard return (line) between row entries.
