Pork Chops Ole'


4 boneless pork chops (fat trimmed off)
1 cup Minute Rice
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1 onion (diced)
1 bell pepper (diced)
16 oz. tomato sauce
2 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup fat free cheddar cheese
salt, pepper, garlic to taste


Brown pork chops in a skillet coated with Pam. Combine taco seasoning, cumin, onion, bell pepper, rice, water, tomato sauce, and other spices in a 9" X 13" baking dish. Mix well. Arrange pork chops on top. Cover and bake at 350° around 90 minutes. (I think this is too long so I check to see if they are done and take them out sooner) Uncover and top with cheese. Return to oven until cheese is melted.
