The Sword in the Stone
Madame Mim

Madame Mim Voice: Martha Wentworth

Review: "The marvelous, magnificent, mad, mad, mad, mad, Madame Mim," as the song goes, and pretty much all of the lyrics are true. She's marvelously hilariouse, with the help of Martha Wentworth's extremely delightful voice. Mim has a magnificent style all her own, an adorable little plupness, but just the right amount of hideousness to keep you staying away. She has enough madness to drive Ward and Merlin crazy. As shown in the classic scene in which Mim and Merlin have "The Wizard's Duel." A "game" where two wizards (and or witches) have a duel to see who is the real master of magic (during this scene, listen carefully as Mim transforms into a purple dragon, the music from "Sleeping Beauty" is in the background). In retrospect, Madame Mim is a pretty good villain.
