Mary Flood, b ca 1635 d ca 1678, dau of Col. John Flood and Margaret____Finch
"Early Virginia Immigrants", by G. C. Greer, reads: "Mary Flood, 1650, by Capt. John Flood, Gent., and John Flood, an Ancient Planter, James City County." This seems to indicate that Mary Flood, who had been to school or on a visit to England, had her return passage paid by her eldest brother and her father. Mary Flood married four times; as stated by Dr. Tyler: "She must have been a very attractive woman."
