IN THE NAME OF GOD I George Norwood of Northampton and State of North Carolina being sick in body but of soud mind and memory and calling to that it was once appointed for all men to die, Viz., first I commit my Sole to God who gave it My Body to be decently buried in Christian Like manner and as to my Earthly Property that it hath pleased the Almighty to bless me with I give and bequeath as hereafter mentioned.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Loving Wife, Tabitha Norward all the property I received by her when married to me and now in my possession to her and her Heirs forever.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Loving Son, John Norward one Negro boy and feather bed already delived him. Also one Negro boy named Kitt to him and his heirs forever.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Loving Son Moses Norward that tract of Land he lives on bounded as per deed recorded in the County Court of Northampton to him and his heirs forever.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Loving Son Samuel Norward the tract of Land I now live on agreeable to a Deed to him recorded in the County Court of Northampton or ought to have been bearing date the day and year that my son Moses deed does to him and his Heirs forever.

Item. I lend to my Daughter Tabetha High one Negro Girl named Rode during life and after her death the said Negro and increase from this date to be equally divided amongst the Heirs of her body forever.

Item. I lend unto my loving Daughter Liday Rook during her life one Negro boy named Will after her death to be equally among the Heirs of her body forever.

Item. I lend to my loving Daughter Winney Norward one Negro boy named Gilferd her life after her death to be equally divided among the heirs of body forever.

Item. I lend to my Loving Daughter Betsey Norward Thirty Pounds cash her life after her death to be equally divided between the heirs of her body forever.

Item. I lend to my Loving Daughter Polley Jones one Negro Girl named Mary her life after her death to be equally divided among the heirs of her body forever.

Item. I lend to my Loving Daughter Salley Chandler one Negro boy named Warren for the benefit of her self only her life after her death to be equally divided among her Heirs forever.

Item. I lend to my Loving Daughter Judith Dewberry Thirty Pounds Cash to the benefit of her self only alone her life after her death to be equally divided amongst the Heirs of her body forever.

Item. I lend to my Loving Daughter Temperance Norward One Negro Girl named Metiller and her increase to her during life after her death to be equally divided among the Heirs of her body forever.

Item. I lend to my loving Daughter Lizy Norward One Negro winch named Fibb and her youngest child during her life after her death ot be equally divided among the Heirs of her body forever.

My Will and desire is that my Executors hereafter named give no bond and security for their Executorship and that all the rest of my estate not heretofore given away be sold and after paying all my just depts equally divided between all my Children herein named. John Mosses, Sam';, Tebetha, Liday, Winney, Betsy, Polly, Salley, Judy, Temperance and Lizy Norward and lastly I do hereby appoint my loving sons Mosses and Samuel Norward my whole and Sole Executors to this my Last will and testament revoking all other wills hereton made by me in presents of the Subscribers hereunto call on as Witness my hand and Seal thie Eighth day of November 18 & six
