Funeral Rites Today For
Jacob Thompson

Word has been received of the death Thursday (January 1, 1948) at Harrisonburg, VA of Jacob K. Thompson of Riverton, father of Leslie E. Thompson, Charleston, owner of Thompson Insurance Agency.

Service is to be at 2:00pm today at United Brethren Church at Riverton. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Franklin.

Also, surviving are his wife, Lulu, 2 other sons, John Riley Thompson, Franklin and Ora D. Thompson, Cumberland, MD; a daughter, Mrs. Eva Cooper, Elkins and 6 grandchildren.

The Brown Mortuary at Franklin is in charge of funeral arrangements.
