Henry Houze's father was James Howze. Born c. 1741 in Brunswick Co., VA. James married Mildred (Milla) Morris between the yrs of 1759-1768.

James' father was Isaac Howze, Sr. born c. 1700/05 in Surry, VA and died in 1792 in Brunswick, VA. Isaac's wife was Mary Mattocks (Matlox) ?
