The Doctor

I have a friend that is a doctor;
He's the best there is around.
He's been practicing for many years,
He's the best that I have found.

He practices around the world,
And never does he sleep.
He'll take just any ache or pain,
His fee is very cheap.

Sometimes He uses medicine,
In other doctors He will confide.
But often He'll Just speak a word,
As He stands there by your side.

I told Him about you Andrew,
And the problems you have had.
He told me that He'd take your case,
And for you not to be sad.

He said He'd be there with you,
And He'll make you well again,
For He's not just a doctor Andrew,
He is your greatest friend.

For children is His specialty,
He loves them all the same,
He said for you to call on Him,
Jesus is His name.
