A man that we had with us till five years ago today.
Was a man that if we had the choice would be with us to stay.
He was a humble man who lived his life for all, but to God he did bow down.
How unselfishly he gave himself to his family and his town.
This man a very unusual man of love and much respect;
He proved to us and society that none he did neglect.
He had room enough for all the world and his family in his heart,
We knew his love and compassion and wisdom from the start.
Although he is not with us now but with Jesus he would be,
He had some work ahead of us before we could be free.
For in the Garden of Glory where all of Heaven could see;
He dug a hole with tears of love and transplanted our family tree.
Homesick to be with him,
The Family of Vaughn Bailey
