TABLE OF CONTENTS

The History of the ABOVE LISTED SURNAMES in America started in 1661 when the widow of CORNELIS VAN DER HOEVE and her six children walked off the ship "de Bever" on May 9, 1661. There are several researchers that have published and donated their works that can be found on microfilm at the Latter Day Saints Family History Centers or other genealogy Library. Below are three works that has been recognized by various registered geneaology organizations:
Rodney Dale Vanderhoof: Vanderhoof family history and genealogy. Anundsen Publishing. 1990. 3 microfiches: 6101069
Wilson Ledley: see the condensed version below.
Others:
Addie Chase: Captain Hendrick Vanderhoof. 1949. Film # 0875411

Please use the following document as a guide . Sources, wills, and general research should still be your major source. Ledley's work is good up to a point but his family relationships have been proven to be slightly different than what current researchers have found when searching their specific family lines. This is true in my cousins and my research for Richard Vanderhoof Sr. of Franklin Twp., Stark Co., Ohio. This also was true for Rodney Dale Vanderhoof's work.
