This block is to be made for turning in to the February 2000 meeting. For as many blocks as you turn in, you may put your name in for drawing all of the blocks out. Please either pin a piece of paper with your name to the blocks, or affix an address label. **Note: All seams are 1/4" seams.

Instructions

Block size will be 6.5" x 8.5" unfinished

 

Cutting

Cut 2, 2.5" x 2.5" red squares
Cut 4, 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" squares of red and cut in half diagonally
Cut 2, 2.5" x 2.5" white squares
Cut 4, 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" squares of white and cut in half diagonally

 

Assembly

Sew the red and white half-squares together and assemble the blocks per the picture above.
