The Ellerbrock family has been traced back to Johannes Ellerbrock of Schweig-Glandorf, Germany where the family owned property dating to 1624. The property is still in the hands of the decendants while many of them have emmigrated to many countries on several continents...including Australia, El Salvador, Africa, and Egypt as well as several to the USA. They have been recorded at Fort Sumpter, during the civil war, WW2, and survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack. Those not mentioned are not deliberatley left out but rather we have no official report of their service yet. 	This is Francis (Frank) Ellerbrock, born in Glandorf, Ohio 1870 and died in Peru, IL in 1917. He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth ( Schweickert), and 12 children. One infant child preceded him in death.
