Daisy Girl Scouts are...
* named after the founder of Girl Scouting, Juliette Gordon Low, whose nickname was "Daisy."
* are for girls who are five years old or in kindergarten.
* have their own uniform - a tunic; and have an Activity Scrapbook to keep mementos of the troop year.
* receive a certificate at the beginning and end of each Daisy Girl Scout year.
* take part in ceremonies throughout the year such as opening and closing ceremonies, welcoming ceremonies and bridging ceremonies into Brownies.
* learn the Girl Scout sign, handshake and Quiet Sign.
