WELCOME TO PITTSBURGH !!!!




This is beautiful Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. This is a shot taken from Mt. Washington, which overlooks Pittsburgh. This picture was taken at dusk and shows where the three rivers meet.





This is Pittsburgh at night obviously ! This picture is taken from the West End. You can see Point State Park. Just to the left in the photo would be Three Rivers Stadium. The home of the Pirates and Steelers.




One thing Pittsburgh is known for is its ethnic diversity. We are a city full of ethnic groups. We take pride in our own indiviual heritage. Each ethnic group celebrates their heritage and indiviuality in our city. Above is a picture of the "Cathedral of Learning", its part of the University of Pittsburgh. Inside it has rooms which represent the many ethnic families that have made Pittsburgh their home. Each room is decorated as it would be in the native country which it represents. It is a great place to learn of the difference in all of our backgrounds.




This is the Civic Arena, fondly known as "The Igloo" to Pittsburgh fans. This is where our Pittsburgh Penguins play. There is no doubt Pittsburgh is a sports town, but we actually were not really hockey fans until the Greatest hockey player to ever step foot on the ice arrived. Mario Lemieux changed hockey in Pittsburgh forever. We will miss his presence on the ice. To learn more about Pittsburgh sports click on the link below !

This is Three Rivers Stadium. The home of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates, but I am sorry to say not for long. As you may have heard they are building two new stadiums. One for each of our teams. The stadiums they are building are more "suited" to the sport in which they play. Instead of the multi-use Three Rivers. It will be sad when they move.
