No.5 will give you self-introduction.
Watashiha Smith desu
(Means "I am Smith")
When you need to see people, you need to introduce youself.
You can see this script as an example.
Hajememasite (Nice to see you)
Hajimemasite (Nice to see you)
Watasiha Simith desu (I am Smith.)
Anatano onamaeha (May I have your name?)
Watashiha Yamada desu (I am Yamada)
Watasiha Hirosimani sundeimasu (I live in Hirosima.)
Watasiha kanaito musukoga imasu (I am married, and I have a son.)
Watashino shumiwa ryokou desu (My hobby is travel.)
Most of Japanese are not used to speak to American. If you can give them self-introduction in Japanese, they will be very relaxed.
Point of lesson
It is common to introduce all of you, such as family, occupancy, address,
sometimes age too. You don't have to get into point at once. General conversation is very useful to know each other & very helpful to business discussion as well.
