Curly Scrunchie Pattern

Materials:

Size G hook

Worsted weight cotton yarn (Lily's Sugar & Cream used in model)

33 pony beads in colors to complement the yarn

Large elastic ponytail band

Pattern

String on pony beads before you begin.

Rnd 1: Sc all around band an even number (I used 34). Sl in 1st sc to join.

Rnd 2: Ch1, 2 sc in each st around. St st in 1st sc to join. (68)

Rnd 3: *Ch 11, bring up a bead, make 1 ch around bead. Make 2 sc in 1st ch next to bead and in each remaining ch across. Your work WILL curl. Sc in next sc. Repeat from * 32 times. At end of last curl, sl st in next sc instead of a sc. Leave the remaining stitches unworked. Finish off.
