These are the first and only angel dolls
I've made and were given as Christmas gifts. On
the left is "Garden Angel" and on the right is
"Peppermint Angel". The Pattern is from an ASN
leaflet "Angel Dolls to Crochet". |

This is an air freshener doll I made for
a Christmas gift. It's called "Winter
Princess",
and is a Needlecraft Shop pattern. |
|
This afghan was a present to my
husband's
parents. My father-in-law was recuperating from
surgery. Aren't the colors gorgeous? It's one
of Maggie Weldon's patterns, "Popcorn Granny
Afghan", from the Jan-Feb. 1998 issue of "Crochet Home." |

This is the impkins grad doll I made for
a graduation gift. Inside the little diploma
was
money. The pattern is from Career
Impkins. |
|
Pattern is from Classic Bed Dolls
Vol.
1 by Shady Lane Designs. This doll was a
gift to someone about a year ago, and recently I
heard that she still has it on her bed. Please see their website at http://www.shadylane.com.

The afghan is from Leisure Arts leaflet
Heavenly Afghans Inspired by Angels. I
made it to use in a raffle for the March of
Dimes. The bunny is from an issue of
Crochet World Magazine. |
|
This baby blanket is from Leisure Arts
leaflet Blankets & Buddies. It's the
older sister to one I later made in white. I
think this one is more photogenic. |
|
This bear is from an original design by
Carol
Alexander and is called "Brandi Bear". I
modified it somewhat from the pattern, but I
think Carol will recognize it. |
|
Lacy Vest from July/Aug issue of
Hooked on Crochet. It's made with
sport-weight cotton I bought at R&M Yarns at the
Dollar Days Sale in 1997. It measures about a
size 36, which is too small for me, so my
mother-in-law is now wearing it! |
|
Easy Panel Afghan from Oct., 1998 issue of
Crochet World. The designer is Lee Mathewson, who is a member of Crochet Partners! It's made with Red Heart
Pounder yarn in Soft White, Hunter Green, and Burgundy. The model is Pink Lemonade, a Cupcake Corner pattern. The body is crocheted, then stuffed with fiberfill. Then the head and hands
are secured in place. | |
Floral Lace Baby Afghan from Annie's Attic "Baby Blossoms", designer Carol Alexander.
It's made with baby fingering yarn.
| |
Filet afghan made from the hummingbird chart at the Seafore site. It was fun making it with yarn, although the chart was intended for a thread piece.
Doily Baby Afghan from Red Heart booklet entitled "Soft Wear". The model is granddaughter Mikayla, who is wearing a layette I made for her.
These are the two Oxfam sweaters I've made from the pattern published in the April, 1998 issue of "Crochet with Heart". The variegated one is intended for Mikayla.
This is a closeup of one of the sweaters so you can see the stitch pattern.
Same afghan from Blankets & Buddies, only done with a brighter variegated yarn. Mikayla loves it!
Baby Rickrack afghan from Caron Wintuk yarn label. The picture came out a little dark, but please see closeup for more detail.
Closeup of the Baby Rickrack Afghan.
A two-strand afghan made with a P hook. The pattern is from "Vanna's Favorite Gift Afghans".
Baby afghan from "Absolutely Gorgeous Baby Afghans". It was made with Bernat baby yarn.
Another shot of the "gorgeous" baby afghan.

Patriotic Kewpie from Crochet World (designed by Lori Zeller). Main dress is made with Mexican Wave, trimmed with red Omegacrys and white cotton thread.
My own friendship shawl, made from squares accumulated when I was in a CP friendship granny exchange.
My new red hat that I finished 5/21/06. Since this hat is going to be worn to Red Hat Society functions, I used purple fun fur for the last round.
Snazzy eh? Pattern for the hat can be found in the Crochet Partners pattern library
Baby afghan I made for a baby shower. It's called "Flowers & Lace". Made with Berroco Comfort worsted weight yarn. |
