Not by might nor by power, but my Spirit - Zechariah 4:6 , a proclamation by the Lord Almighty brought alive by this testimony I am about to share.
It all began when my brother, Bobby Oh, who was miraculously healed of groin cancer (confirmed by specialists from Subang Medical Center & Glen Eagles Hospital, Singapore), asked me to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a client of his. As he elaborated through the prompting of the Holy Spirit, the Lord wanted this healing miracle and the Gospel to be shared to this man who was suffering from lung cancer.
A Shocking revelation awaited us when we visited a 46-year old man named Chua Peng Hui, whom Bobby had only seen once and spoken through the phone. Chua was actually my friend whom I have known for the past 16 years.
The idols, pendants and talisman easily amounting from 40 to 50 in the house, indicated the depth of idolatry and bondage Chua is in. Even though I knew through the Word of God what we were up against - For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and agaisnt the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm - Ephesian 6:12, the assurance of 1 John 4:46 - The one who is in you is greater that the one who is in the world, gave me boldness.
On the first visit itself, I knew God was reaching out to this man who related how Christians from the neighbourhood, hospital and colleagues, whom he had not seen for more than 18 years, shared the Gospel and prayed for him.
"Do not expect me to accept Jesus into my heart and throw away 28 years of worship to Buddha based on your testimony and Bobby's. Other religious groups also came and shared convinsing testimonies to me," Chua replied when Iextended Salvation through Jesus Christ with him. He continued "If jesus is truly the Son of God, He has to prove it to me. I do not expect Him to heal me of this cancer, but just by moving my eyelid when I pray to Him to make me believe." God did more than that. Each time when I lay hands (Mark 16:18b) and prayed for Chua, I felt a surge of power flow through my arm and into him. This surge not only moved his eyelid but shook his whole body. On one occasion, he was jolted from his seat. Despite this, Chua is still adamant. This time he said "I will only believe in JEsus if He cam heal me."
Chua's Cancer still continued to spread from teh lungs to the brain and right eye. Due to this, two lumps were seen on his head. The right eye had gone blind and deteriorated like a broken rotten egg. Even at this stage, Chua was still adamant. All I could do was to wait upon the Lord for His ways (Isiah 55:9)
Finally the breakthrough came after three months of follow up. Through the works of the Holy Spirit and the tetimony of Bro. Lim Heng Hum (How God sustained his life for more than 10 years even though he is suffering from lung cancer), Chua open up.
After he stopped going to the buddist temple for prayers, restoration started to take place. The broken eyeball was restored to its roundness; the water and puss surrouinding the deteriorating eye was gone and so did the lumps on the head. All these happened within the span of less than two weeks. On 20 January 1998, Chua called upon the name of the Lord (Romans 10:13 - 14a) repenting of his sins and seeking forgiveness.
Three days later, something which took place baffled me initially. On his way to the toilet, Chua slipped and fell backwards, hitting the back of his head against the cement floor, and died. The Lord revealed and confirmed His ways through His Word in Isaiah 55:11 - my word that goes out from my mouth "it will not return to me empty, but will accomplished what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. The Word was sent, Chua had received and was saved. In Isaiah 57:1b, the Lord revealed His ways of taking Chua home "... and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil."
A month later, Chua's wife accepted the Lord. The idols and altar were removed. Truly, Jesus is the "...name that is above every name" - Philippians 2:9b

On Sunday after returning fom Church, my sister came to my room and called me. There was a commotion outside and I saw my one year old nephew breathless and motionless. My sister-in-law and mother, who was feeding him at that time, were crying. Together with my sister-in-law and my mother, I rushed my nephew to the nearest clinic approximately 6 miles away. In the car, all of us, including my sister-in-law who was not a Christian called upon the name of Jesus to revive and bring this child back to life. Just as the car was approaching the clinic, I received the prompting of the Holy Spirit to ask my motehr to blow into my nephew's nose. With just one blow, milk began to spurt out from his moth and his eyes began to open but he did not move or cry.
At the clinic, the doctor told us that there was nothing wrong with him except for the high fever and he recommanded that the child be sent to the hospital for a further treatment. On the way to the Hospital, I noticed that my nephew once again started losing consciousness. Once again, we started to cry out to the Lord for help and we prayed.
Once in the Hospital, they bathed him and this revived him. When he started crying only were we relieved. We really praise and thank God for his timely divine intervention. It was the milk which choked my nephew. This nearly took his life but Jesus intervened and restored him to life.
