Who is Missie, you ask???

GOOD QUESTION....

First of all... I would have to say I am a Child of God. I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, His Son. If you would like you may go read my personal testimony.

I am 34 years old.)

I am a wife. Please go and meet my hubby. He is a wonderful! We have been married for 17 years. And Never been Happier, it gets better every year!!!

I am a mom. You can meet my boys in their rooms. I enjoy being a mom. I volunteer in my kids classes at school once a week. Yes the do attend public school. By volunteering I get very familiar with the teacher, my kids friends, the school not to mention, what is being taught and I am able to give my opinions to the teachers in a friendly none threatening manner. The results are often interesting btw. Also, I do remove my kids from school for particular functions, Halloween being one of them. Well, enough about that.

I, actually both my hubby and I are originally from Marietta, Ohio. We have lived in California, the Upper Penisula of Michigan, and now we are permanently transplanted in Delaware, or at least until God says it is time to go elsewhere.

June 21st 2000... What has God been doing in our lives?
We have been in our new house a little over a year now. God has been so faithful and blessed us abundantly. We enjoy our new house. We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God provided this house for us at His perfect time. And we are Thankful for it. This year we planted a small garden. Next year it will be bigger. We have really just had a lot of fun owning our own home, with all its ups and downs. Unexpected things here and there, but again God provided what we needed to resolve any problems.
In my life personally I have changed and grown a lot, not just through the past year but it has been a process of about 2.5 years. God took me through a very trying time that was necessary to show me some areas that needed work. I praise God for that time of growing even though it was painful. But He has brought me to a new place closer to Him. I have drifted from Him and therefore not felt as Close to Him as I had in the past. (which is probably why I have not worked on this site much, it was developed at a time when I had closed out a lot of people in my life, my church included, but it was also a very spiritual time for me. How can that be? It doesn't even make since to me, and I was there. All I can say is God works all things out to the Good of those who love HIM. And in this case It worked out very GOOD! I am looking forward to getting back to working on the site time permitting) Anyway I am getting back to really feeling like I am where God wants me to be right now where I can hear His voice continually which is my desire.
That is about it for today but hopefully I will be learning more and have the time to share it with yall through my THOUGHTS page.
April 27th 1999 update....
Well God has been busy in our life. I recently went to Delaware to look for a house. We had prayed and asked others to pray we would find the house quickly (basically we had 2 weeks to find it and have the paper work started). God was gracious. We found the house in the first set of listings our realtor gave us. The house had only been on the market a week when we viewed it (all in God's perfect timing). It was everything we wanted. It even came with an acre and a half. Almost too perfect to be true. All the paper work was completed before I had to leave to come back to Ohio. The house is nothing special to most people just a typical ranch, the basic rectangle, but it is everything we wanted. God did a wonderful job picking it out for us, of course.

GUESS WHAT!!!!
We signed all the papers for our new house on May 27th!!! And started moving in. It is really exciting. We have always lived in base housing, being in the Air Force, so this is a whole new experience. We are painting rooms, putting up shelves... Just basically making the house Ours. We can't believe what a blessing it is to actually have our own house. Of course, it is a lot of work, but worth every minute.
It is amazing to me at how exact God answered our prayers. Thanks so much to all of my friends that prayed for us during this year of waiting. God is faithful and true to His word. He was working in His timing. Believe me it was all worth the wait!!! :o)

UPDATE 10 July 1999
Having a house is A LOT of work, but we love every minute of it. We are still moving in and all that fun stuff. Seems we have pretty much finished the inside, but have been working a lot on the outside now. One step at a time, eventually we will have it the way WE want it.
We have had our first guests already. Both sets of parents, mine and his, have been to see the new house. They all seemed to like it, of course they all offered their suggestions of how they would do this or that, but I think they know us pretty well and we are gonna do it our way at least til we find out their way was a better idea maybe. Ya never know sometimes the old way is the best way, but NOT always ;o)
Well that is all I have for now so I will update you when something exciting happens.

Well now that you have met Missie I will introduce you to Bcnyall. That is the name you find me under in Yahoo Chat Please look for me there if you visit. I am always in one of the Christian Chat rooms, when I am in there.

This site was started by Me, as Bcnyall, about a year or so ago, for her friends in Chat. So that they could get to know more about the real person behind Bcnyall. With the idea, of sharing more about the things I believe and why I believe them. Chat has changed a lot since then. Many have come and gone there are few I even recognize in there anymore, although I am sure many good things are still accomplished there for the Kingdom of God. It seems to have gotten to a point where the Christians are out numbered in there more often than not. Also just a note to those that are the regulars in any chat room. Don't be so wrapped up with your group of friends that others cannot get into the conversation. When someone says Hello Greet them, or greet them when they come in, making them feel welcome.
Relationships are made as we pass each other in our comings and goings. We talk about deep things, surface things and just have fun passing time. It is a place to share thoughts and feelings that you may not be able to share with someone face to face. Many of you have probably read this poem, but I really think it says a lot about the feelings and friendships that are shared in chat. Go and read it if you haven'tFriends Without Faces

Along with the wonderful people I have met in chat....I feel I must still offer a word of caution. Unfortunetly, you do not always get to meet the real person behind the made up chat name. When you are in chat remember all may not be as it appears. Those friends without faces can be as honest or dishonest as they chose to be. Just use common sense when sharing information and your heart with people.

.....MORE TO COME.....
