Why I created this page

About two years ago I decided to create my first HTML page. I needed to find information, which might be interesting for visitors (who needs personal pages?). During my Internet surfings I found a Russian site about Internet Service Providers in Russia and the former USSR countries. On this site Belarus was represented only by 2 providers. I consireded this was not enough. In the Belarusian part of Internet there was no information about providers at all. So, I desided this to be a topic just for me.
I created the site, containing information about Internet Services in Belarus. It was written in Russian and contained only one page with a short description in English. But thanks to numerous e-mails from English-speaking visitors and the counter I use (www.spylog.ru), I understood that the people not only from Belarus are interested in the information about ISPs in Belarus. So I desided to made full English version of my site.
My site is an absolutely non-commercial one. I have no support from any providers, some of them even have no idea about its existance. The only banners I have are from "Geocities" (now Yahoo) who hosts my site.
