Out of the darkness, black and bleak,
Came a sound so heartfelt, I could not speak.
A howl so lonely, filled with despair,
Seeking it's true love,lost, but so rare.
Into the night sky, answering bays,
Carried by wind, the message conveys.
Two wolves alone, each sits on their mound,
Souls ever searching, finally found.
A song of love, ageless, enduring,
Never to cease, always recurring.
