Beautiful faces that I have never seen
But which come to me in the depths of dreaming
Sweet voices which I have never heard
But which sing to me sweet songs of friendship
Wonderful laughter which I cannot hear
But which brings a smile to my face
Words from their hearts to comfort me
But which have no voice of substance
These are the sweet friends
My dream friends which are real
My dear true friends
Which are natural in their sweetness
That make all my dreams come true
That believe in me always
Even though I am part of their dreams
Because I am a sweet friend too.
