The short description starts from the story of my ancestors.

My ancestors

Kunchathur Amminhi Byari

Let me start the story of my ancestors from Kunchathur Amminhi Byari who lived in early part of 19th Century. He was a businessman (Thus he got the surname 'Byari'). His business was collecting goods such as Rice, Logs, Woods, Textiles Etc. from Manglore City and distributing in Uppinangady. He used Boats (Big Boats like House Boats) to transport the commodities through the Netravathi River

Omanchur Iddin / Mohyuddin (Idne Byari)

His son, Omanchur Iddin / Mohyuddin (Idne Byari) also was a businessman. His business was same as of his father.

Moosa Byari

Idne Byari's son Moosa Byari having same type of business of his ancestors. He was very brilliant and courageous. Among the boats, Bullock Carts also were used to transport the commodities. And he was successful to try different commodities in his business such as Hill Products. He was living in a place called 'Kallumattu' at Mangalpadi river side. He was married to Ayshabi daughter of Kumbol Ummer Moiliar. He had 3 sons Muhammed Moiliar, Ummer Moiliar, Abdulla and a daughter Fathima (Known as Pathu)

Mohammed Moliar was the Khazi for 18 Mahals, He had a daughter Aysha and he died in 1925.

Abdulla was the youngest son of Moosa Byari, He had 2 sons Muhammed Ali, Abdul Rahiman Maliga and a daughter Fathima. Abdul Rahiman Maliga is now working in Dubai.

Moosa Byari purchased 'Maliga Valappu' from Kasaragod Manjunath Kamath in 1872. And he built a double storied house 'Maliga' in 1875. The 'Maliga House' was one of the great houses of that time because two storied houses were not common.

He died in 1934.

Ummer Moiliar

He was the second son of Moosa Byari. He was managing his father's business, but as per his father's instruction, he left business field and started learning religious things from Kasargod and Bantwal to become a Moulavi.

He was very popular by his religious knowledge and simple life. He spent almost all of his life to teach people about the importance of Education. People were not aware of importance of education at that time and the society was strongly against the education of Muslim Girls. He tried to change the system, as he educated his daughters and giving speech in different mosques about the importance of education.

He worked as Mudris at Angadi Mogar Juma Masjid (1939 - 1945) and at Bantwal (1946-1955)

He was the founder of 3 Schools. 2 schools at Bantwal and 1 at Mangalpady.
