My Great Grandfather was James Elijah Archer who was married to Emma Elsie Beaird. All I know at this point is that they came from East Tennessee to Crockett County with his brother Tommy Archer who was married to a Mary Ann Bailes. Please contact me if you have any info.

Decendant of Thomas Archer, Penrith,Cumbria, England cira 1540 son was William who had son who was Thomas who had son William. This William Archer married Eliabeth Wright at St. Andrews in Penrith July15,1810. Their children Thomas,Mary,Agnes,James. William died in Ireland while visiting James whom was a teacher at a Military school. Thomas came to the USA and died in 1877 in Huntington,W.Va.his son William was my Ggrandfather and was from Cincinatti,Ohio and Daytona Beach,Florida. Thomas married Jane Routledge and later Frances Mather, Children by 1st marriage were William,Martha,Robert Lamley, Children by Frances were Frank, Richard, Sarah. William Archer married Pauline Rulison and so began the Rulison Archer's and there have now been five of us. Would like to hear from anyone who thinks they might be connected to our branch.
