Roger Dyer
Roger came from Pennsylvania to Fort Seybert in 1747. He led the firs settlement in Pendleton County, VA., and was, in his day, well-to-do. He was killed by Indians at the Fort Seybert Massacre on 28 April 1758. Roger is buried in a common grave with 17 others, including his son William. |
