Dear Dad:

We think Mom's growing dope.

We found it yesterday in the backyard in what Mom calls her herb garden. (It IS rather suspicious.)

The leaves are green and kinda fuzzy, and it grows low to the ground. Puff and I took turns rolling around in it. When you crush the leaves, like when we rolled in them, of course, we wound up smelling a little bit like Mom's spaghetti sauce. But, wow! What a rush! We'd roll and then zip around the yard, and then roll again and off we'd go. (Puff doesn't agree, but I think we were a little high.)

Since then, we've been investigating. I overheard Mom telling Kathy about our new addiction to spicy basil. Or it might have been oregano. (My memory's still a little frazzled from our overdose.)

Anyway, could you look that up for us? We don't want to get Mom in trouble, but we'd like to know what we're dealing with here.
