Dear Dad:

I don't think Mom's really happy about getting up at 5:00 to take me outside to pee. Besides, I don't like to go out (it's been awfully wet and cold and my feet get dirty. Yuck.) But every once in a while I actually humor her.

My buddy Mac likes to go too, but he comes in through a different door. I can't quite figure that out yet, because Mom shuts the sliding glass door while Mac's still outside. Then all of a sudden I hear this "thwap!" and here he comes!

I'll have to investigate. I heard Mom saying something about a "doggie door." Do you know anything about them? Please tell.
